U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann appeared tonight on Chris Matthews' "Hardball" program on MSNBC shortly after 4 p.m. CST tonight.
Among her revelations:
Barack Obama may hold anti-American views.
The people Obama associates with "by and large" have anti-American views.
The media should launch a witch hunt against Democratic members of Congress to find how who among their ranks is "pro-America" and who is "anti-America"--and presumably Rep. Bachmann herself will furnish the checklist that will definitively instruct us how to tell the difference.
The ghost of Sen. Joe McCarthy has just crossed the border from my home state of Wisconsin into my current state of residence, Minnesota. Yippee.
