Here I am photographed outside the White House in the Rose Garden, formerly the West Garden. It was here that a teen-aged Bill Clinton met and shook hands with President John F. Kennedy in 1962 during a Boys Nation gathering. JFK redesigned the grounds for use in formal presidential ceremonies.
