Former U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman–he of the ad infinitum Minnesota recount process–tells Alaska’s Joe Miller to move on.
Miller has been hoping to somehow overcome the write-in victory of Lisa Murkowski for U.S. Senate up in Alaska. And Coleman’s right. There isn’t much point in continuing the process.
Funny thing is, I know some folks, including former Republican Gov. Arne Carlson, who urged Coleman to drop his case for exactly the same reason. I wonder if Norm is offering this advice as coming from someone who knows of whence he speaks.
Coleman tells C-SPAN that “you have to have some finality to these things. It should be time to move on.”
