Steve Kaplan, former editor of the long-lamented magazine Minnesota Law and Politics, sat down to lunch with me and our colleague Adam Wahlberg at the Lexington restaurant in St. Paul on Feb. 19. Steve, who has retired to become a world traveler, is one of the people most responsible for the arc of my career. It was great to see him. We bumped into former Minnesota Gov.
